About Us

Tallulah (or Lula to her mates) is one of the UK’s most sought after young choral sopranos, working regularly with leading vocal ensembles across the UK, including The Sixteen, Tenebrae, The BBC Symphony Chorus, and Omnium Ensemble. A graduate of both the Choir of The Queen’s College, Oxford, and The Sixteen’s ‘Genesis’ programme, Lula’s voice is prized for its warmth and resonance, and is sure to add a lustre to any special day.

Zak has been playing the trumpet since before he could walk. He has performed professionally since he was a teenager and, as one of the UK’s most promising young instrumentalists, appeared with numerous high profile ensembles, both as a soloist and ensemble member. Alongside earning several awards and accolades for his playing over the years, Zak reached the brass category finals of the 2016 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition.

Tallulah and Zak met at university through music, and have been together ever since. A shared love of performance is at the heart of their partnership, making them the perfect duo for life’s big celebrations.

  • “Zak and Lula performed Eternal Source of Light Divine at our wedding and they were one of the highlights of the day. Every guest commented on how beautiful and personal they made the ceremony, and they even made my dad (an almost unmovable man) cry. The quality of their music-making was incredible, and any couple would be lucky to have them as part of their day.”
