Foreign Language Coaching for Singers

As well as playing the trumpet, Zak is a fluent speaker of French and German and has a PhD in French and Music from the University of Durham. He is a respected expert in both nineteenth-century opera and literary analysis.

Drawing on this experience, Zak offers 1:1 private coaching for singers seeking to hone their French and German language skills, pronunciation, and storytelling. His coaching goes beyond just the phonetics, digging into the text to unlock deeper meaning and create vivid and colourful vocal performances.

Catering for a variety of needs, Zak offers both one-off consultations and ongoing support, working with singers across London and online. He is also delighted to work with choirs as they prepare French or German repertoire.

Rates

Consultations: £80 for one hour/£150 for two hours.
